The HYM Investment Group’s (“HYM”) vision for the redevelopment of Suffolk Downs is to create a new mixed-use neighborhood that will connect residents of East Boston and Revere through a network of new parks and open spaces, pedestrian and bicycle friendly paths. This new economic hub will include neighborhood retail, vibrant restaurants and will generate jobs and new local tax revenues.

Goals for Suffolk Downs Redevelopment:

• Engage the community in an extensive and inclusive permitting process.
• Create an active and lively neighborhood through a thoughtful mix of uses.
• Provide parks and open spaces that will be accessible and usable by all.
• Promote economic opportunity through the inclusion of office and retail uses that will generate new jobs.
• Build a mix of housing to meet the needs of the communities, including townhomes, apartments, condominiums, and senior housing.
• Reconnect the site to the adjacent communities of East Boston and Revere.
• Enhance the connectivity to the Beachmont and Suffolk Downs Blue Line stations to improve bus access in the area.
• Create bicycle and pedestrian connections that improve the community’s transit experience in the area.
• Design forward-thinking strategies towards resiliency, climate change, and sea-level rise.
